Tagum Coop supports DEPED’s Brigada Eskwela

TAGUM CITY – The COVID-19 crisis has transformed physical interaction – including the traditional classroom education. Thus, the Department of Education initiated its learning continuity plan using various teaching modes – online, modular, broadcast learning.

Tagum Cooperative strengthens its partnership with the Department of Education by supporting the annual Brigada Eskwela as the school year begins. Its virtual launching has highlighted the need to strengthen collaboration with different public and private sectors to ensure that quality education continues amidst the pandemic. 

This year’s theme is about “Pagpapanatili ng Bayanihan Tungo sa Kalidad na Edukasyon para sa Kabataan”.

Dir. Rosalina S. Argent, Chairperson Board of Directors of Tagum Cooperative emphasized and commended the Department of Education, for its valiant and innovative learning continuity plan despite on-going challenges. She assured that Tagum Cooperative will continue being an active partner of the Department of Education in various programs and advocacies focusing on Financial Literacy and Youth Empowerment.

Tagum Cooperative has allotted almost a Million pesos intended for the donation of A4 bond paper for module production and ethyl alcohol to be used as disinfectants. Funds coursed through all TC Branches and Satellite Offices, are sourced from the Community Development Fund (CDF).

Tagum Cooperative is working side by side, hand in hand with DepEd to protect life and ensure good quality education. Sulong Edukalidad!
