SR. CREDIT OFFICER

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors Degree in Accountancy, Business Management or any related course.
  • Preferably with relevant experience in coop sector; Computer Literate; High interpersonal & communication skills

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for the evaluation, recommendation and managing the credit risk of loan accounts (MICOOP, key accounts and remedial accounts).Provide oversight function on credit operation in the absence of the unit head. Facilitate/assist in loan recovery activities of the unit.
  • Recommends credit proposal for approval and prepare written communication for declined/deferred accounts
  • Recommends measures, actions or conditions that will ensure coop borrower’s viability
  • Coordinate with the Legal group and attend hearing and or court proceedings as deemed necessary.
  • Facilitate internal and external clients that require credit compliance/participation
