Having a reliable management within organizations such as cooperatives require a lot of rigid, tested policies and procedures. Thus, this material by the Cooperative Education and Development Center (CEDC) aims to help the cooperatives, starting or existing, craft their own working standards and protocols for members, leaders, and managers to abide to.
Detailed procedures, sample internal and external forms, as well as point-grading system rubrics for evaluating organizational practices (mainly in accounting and financial management), are compiled for the benefit of educating cooperative leaders on how to effectively set-up, monitor, and guide their enterprise operations. In addition to those mentioned, various samples of list of member duties and responsibilities, organizational structure, and sample report formats are given to increase the professional awareness, knowledge, and practice of members within the group, especially those who are in charge with administrative, financial, and operations-related tasks.
