The NATCCO Network is proud to announce the appointment of Ms. Mary Rose L. Gob as the new Group Head of the Cooperative Academy of NATCCO Network (CANN) effective on June 6.
Ms. Gob is a mission-driven and visionary leader with over 25 years of experience in human resources, organizational development, and cooperative capacity-building. Her dedication to cooperative education and leadership development has been instrumental in shaping the direction and growth of CANN.
She has serve in various key roles within the NATCCO Network, initially as a Senior HR Advisor, one of the pioneering peers of the Consultancy Unit, and later as Head of the Knowledge Resource Center (KRC) since 2017.
Her tenure has been marked by innovation, excellence, and a deep commitment to cooperative values.
Among her notable contributions is the development of the Cooperative Leadership and Management Programs (Co-op LAMP). This flagship initiative has elevated the leadership capabilities of cooperative officers and managers across the network. She also led the design and implementation of several competency-based certification programs, which are now actively running and well-received by member-cooperatives nationwide.
Ms. Gob is also a published author of books under the Cooperative Academy, further enriching the knowledge base of the NATCCO Network and advancing learning resources for cooperative leaders and practitioners.

Ms. Gob takes over from Ms. Daisybelle "Bing" Cabal, who retired in April, after serving the cooperative sector for 45 years.

At the Monday morning online meeting of all NATCCO staff on June 2, she said: "I also want to express my heartfelt thanks to the leadership of NATCCO, to our CEO, Ma’am Ibing, my mentors, including – Ma’am Bing (though she has retired already), Ma’am Tita, and Sir Glenn, all the staff members of CANN, and team members in KRC who continuously express their support through their efforts. I believe that being part of Education, Training, and Consultancy Group (ETCG), now CANN, is an honor and a calling. It has helped me change for the better. Truly, our work here at NATCCO is a meaningful advocacy, and we embrace the challenges together, knowing that perseverance leads to positive change."
