The NATCCO Network's Treasury & Credit Group released on March 1 a loan for Guagua Betis Bacolor Jeepney Transport Service Cooperative (Guagua Betis Bacolor JTsc) to acquire four modern jeepneys.

At the Paco Soriano Hall in the NATCCO Network headquarters, the loan agreement was formalized between Daisybelle M. Cabal, Chief Operations Officer of NATCCO Network, and Guagua Betis Bacolor JTsc, represented by Mr. Eduardo Beler, Chairperson of the Board.

Witnessing the agreement was Ronald R. Fabrea, Business Development Manager of FORLAND, which will be supplying the modern jeepney units. Meanwhile, CLIMBS Life and General Insurance Cooperative is the cooperative's chosen insurance provider.

The Government has required that jeepney transport operators and drivers must form cooperatives to have juridical personality and obtain financial assistance.
